That doesn't sound like him...I hope you get contact soon...maybe contact Emmygolf and call him. I hear you about the anxiety, I hate calling people or talking on the phone when people call me. This is one of the reasons I haven't braved aquabid yet. I look and window shop but I don't buy.

I did contact Emmygolf (and sort of bought another Betta from him/her), but they didn't know anything about it. She was sent to him already.

I sent him a text, no response yet. His Facebook page says you can text or call him, so I figured texting would be okay. Maybe he's just busy because of the holidays? Next step is Facebook. Then if I really have to, I'll call him.

He's usually pretty good about responding to facebook messages. I've sent him a few asking about shipments. Hopefully you can get in contact with him.

Almost a month later, and here she is!

She didn't marble, surprisingly. Watch her marble really quickly now that she's here.

She was packed nicely, but the stress I went through trying to get a hold of Koo Yang makes me not like him as a transshipper. I'll try someone else on my next Aquabid impulse buy.

It was most likely the Holidays and time with family. I'd be glad he didn't ship when he got her as the USPS was just plain awful with getting mail, even Priority, soonest.

One reason I don't like imports is the stress of going from overseas to a transhipper directly to the buyer. Often I've read no water changes. Perhaps your girl arrived looking so well because Mr. Koo had her in one of his tanks for several days and she was allowed to adjust to our water and de-stress before being sent to you?

She arrived looking like a pale lump of fish, actually. xD I thought they sent me the wrong Betta. She looked cellophane, no sign of color except for some gray flecks. She colored up quickly after I let her go in her tank, though.

I was just very frustrated he did not let me know that she arrived safely, that was more the issue than waiting for the holidays to be over. She was supposed to get to him on December 19th, he could have sent an email saying she arrived safely but he didn't. He cut off all communication after I paid for her shipping in advance, not even a thank you or confirmation he received it. And when I sent him an email asking if she made it safely into the US, texted him, AND called him, I did not get a single word back from him. I thought she got delayed coming from Thailand, or she just didn't survive the trip. I do not like that way of doing business.

I can guarantee that she had a few water changes before getting home. He has imports moved to jars or tanks while waiting to be shipped home. Glad to see she made it relatively ok
