Cooling packs for shipping...

I've got a betta coming this week and I was wondering if I should have Jennifer put a cooling pack in the box. She recommends them for 85 degrees and up. It's been in the 90's here. I think I'm going to have to do priority shipping this time so she'll be in the box for about 2 1/2 days. Has anyone else used cooling packs yet?

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I haven't... it's an option though. I just got a box from NIB when it was in the 90s and the fish made it all fine and the water was actually on the cool side. It all depends on where the box is left. It's a gamble either way.

I also got a box of plants that were completely melted with the exception of some java moss. Frogbit, wisteria.. all melted into total soup. I wish Id gotten a cooing pack for that shipment >.<
