I think I an going to get him, I found the formerly mentioned fish dead this morning, so I have an open tank:(. He's actually one of the better kept ones there, the have a double sided shelf with the usually cups of bettas, which it's full with, and all around the store There are little things that couldn't be more than half a gallon with bettas in them, and like maybe 5, including him, are in 1-1.5 vases. Still small, but not bad for a pet store, right?

Actually, that's what I was about to ask. Other than hot water, anyone know how to disinfect columnaris?

A diluted bleach (create a new thread in the diseases section for dosing instructions) or better yet vinegar (safer) will help.

Again, create a new thread about what you need to get better responses, as the disease section will be best for those types of answers.

Remember, no soap- not ever.

Thanks, but I was also wondering if his kind of color is uncommon or rare at all, or is just as common as a multicolor or something
