My Female Betta Has Replaced My Pleco!

I got my first female betta today. I found her at a local pet store, mom and pop type shop. She had been living for more than a month in a make-shift tank (half of it was a pencil holder!) at the register. I just had to rescue her! I set her up in a small tank next to my 10g community tank, but she spent hours watching them. I could just tell she was starved for some companionship, so I decided I'd try to put her in with the community. I floated her in a small bowl for 30 minutes in the tank and observed her with the other tank mates and it looked like it might actually work out...and it has! Only problem so far is she has practically replaced my pleco! She has eaten every single flake she could find on the bottom of the tank, lol... You think that's okay? She must have been really hungry! Only thing I didn't think of is how am I going to feed her now? I'm not sure I can feed her betta pellets in a community tank -- that'd take some training or something! Any suggestions? She really does seem happy in there and the other fish aren't afraid of her. I've watched them swimming around each other and every one is getting along just fine...
