Yes, petco has that sale...It ended not to long ago actually..It usually happens again around the end of the year.
Just the empty tanks though. It is nice if you have a filter and heater already, otherwise I buy kits or used tanks and I have found it to be a better deal.

Yes, but keep in mind the deal isn't as sweet as it seems.

You can get the tank for $1 per gallon, but then you need to find a cover, which at Petco, go upwards from $60.

I don't know what size tank you want, but if you already have a filter or heater, Walmart sells 10 gallon tanks for about $12, and they sell the corresponding hood with light for about 20$.

You must ALSO be a Petco's Pals member.

Ah. I would have to buy the other stuff.

I have four bettas I'm hoping to get. So I would need to buy 2 five gallons or one ten gallon because I have a unused 1.5 right now.

smallest the deal is on is 10 gallons, and they're like $13 normally, so not quite as great of a saving on those

They had one that ended 2 or so weeks ago. But its just the basic tanks and I think it starts with the 10 gallon. I dont think the 5 gallon and pet keeprs are included.

Its a better savings for me because they jack up prices in Alaska and their 10 gallon is normally $20. If i had any $$ at the time I so would of gotten a 20 gallon for 20!

If i'm looking to buy two ten gallons and everything needed to set them up what would be the best place to buy?

Yeah like here. I got a 1.5 Gallon here. It came with a filter, two plastic plants, a little light.

http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...26amp%3B+Bowls I got it on sale for 19.99 aka $20 Dollars.

So yeah...I probably would have enjoyed getting like 2-3 ten gallon tanks. at a dollar a gallon.

It is, however, a perfect time to get that 40b tank for heavy planting as a centerpiece to your addiction.
