I know the blue is medicated, but if everything else looks good (tails, temperment) would it be okay to buy one in blue water? What is that stuff anyway?? To calm from shipping?

Nope! Was there Wednesday. They come in clear, I think the blue is supposed to be medication. But I gotta say, Andreas fish are the best I have ever seen.

lol :P I'll make a call to her (through Pet City I guess) and ask her. I guess you saw her fishies? What kinds does she breed? I remember she told me something about them but I knew SO little about betta's I didn't pay mind.

Whoa! Thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone. Seems a friendly bunch and it is nice to see a few other Newfoundlanders here! I had no internet at home for awhile,so thats why I have not been around.

Ahhh Georgia and Arizona, two places I wanna go in the USA. I also wanna visit some other southern states and Maine. I have several tourist/travel books from different states and will DEF' go down there in the future. But in the meantime,I love my Newfoundland and am very proud to live here.

The white halfmoons were at Tropical & Marine Pets. I was out there recently though and they were all gone. I am looking for a 2nd betta...hehe.

I also recently had the pleasure of talking to Andrea and hope to see (and purchase) one of hers. I'll post pictures of my Salsa soon.

+ 10 adorable, wonderful ratties
+ silly, polydactyl kitty named Pumpkin
+ hyper, high strung gerbil girl named Muirne
