This girl... looks exactly like Leliia, who passed away from an open wound that ended up overtaking her quickly.

I'd absolutely love to get this girl... I seriously think it's her sister or something. I can never find female bettas in those colors.

Since I accidentally decided to restart my sorority, I figured she'd go along with it nicely, once I have all the girls together.

Here's the problem though... The seller didn't specify anything about shipping, but then it also said she'd only ship to Canada. If she actually responds and says she can't/won't send the fish to the USA... are there any Canadians on this site that'll help me out?

Plan I have in mind: Whoever helps me buys the fish for me... and I'll happily send whatever you paid for her and the cost of shipping to Florida, USA.
I'm seriously dying to get her.
I just listed about ten things on eBay in the last 30 min. to get the quick funds for her. |D;

By the way... this is what Leliia looked like before she passed:

Leliia is beautiful! IMHO that dragon has NOTHING on your girl.

Unfortunately, even if a Canadian were to purchase her for you, you'd still need an import/export license to ship them across the border. I remember one of my friends had to literally HIDE her cat in the trunk for a few minutes while her family was crossing the border to visit more family.

The only thing I can possibly recommend is if you somehow manage to get a legal trans-shipper to buy her for you, then ship it to your local trans-shipper, who will get it to you.

Heh, thanks for that compliment. Honestly I think the girl selling the betta couldn't get a good picture of the female. The picture I showed here is one out of literally 350+ pictures I took that actually has her beautiful colors right. The other 350+... her scales looked like an ugly green or brown. :p It took forever to figure out the right lighting.

I also figured the whole transhipper thing was the problem, but I didn't exactly know how that all worked.
I'll contact a few Canadian transhippers for help on this and see if they will lend a hand.

Aw, I wish I could help. I'm so far East that she'd suffer and die before she got to you :( I wonder if you could drive somewhere closer to Canada and work a deal with the seller?
Shoot, it'd literally take me a full two days drive to get near the Canadian border. I live in the furthest-South state in the continental US. xD;
I'm going to contact the seller about shipping/selling her to a transhipper, so I can buy her off the transhipper and ship her here.... So many steps I'm willing to take for this one fish. lol

I'm sorry, if I did this, she'd be added to my sorority!
I wouldn't blame you! :D
Though I might be a little mad at you, if you did, too. :lol:
