Been looking for a while...

Ive got this great plastic container, about 1.5 gallons. Granted, its not the ideal size for a betta, but i figured since the local petsmart has bettas that are about to die anyway, something is better than nothing. its not extremely deep, and im not a big fan of my sideways heater in my current tank.
the question i wanted to ask was if anyone knows of any heaters that aren't too long, but are adjustable.
Its bigger,1.5 gallons, but its like a sandwich container, a heater wouldnt melt the plastic right?

Miami Ice- a unsocial butterfly who swims away from me everytime i pass his tank.

Hey beta guy, recently I have seen these mini heater sets for betta bowls at petco. I think there made by Tetra Finn, but in some store they just hang them in the side of the betta rackets. Its a dark round circle heater that has a diameter of about 3 1/2 in. Its about 20 bucks, go to your petsmart and see if they have any. ;)

Paul ;)

Those round ones have been known to overheat the water and cook fish so be careful if you do buy one..There's one on amazing for like 9 dollars that is a safer, adjustable glass aquarium heater.

This is a personal opinion ^^. :) I've used Tetras in 0.8g tanks and they worked amazing for me. I would caution anyone to test them first before leaving them in use with no supervision, like all heaters :)

The presets ar set pretty low(like 76 or 78?) which durring the winter is better then no heater but i still don't reccomend them.

Go onlline and you can find adjustable ones for 9-27 bucks(dependingon brand and wattage and such)
heresone site:
http://www.kensfish.com/heaters.html

They also have good foods and filters and so on.

My wishlist:
-duckweed- -black and white marble, anything but VT-
-javamoss- -koi marble, anything but VT)
-hatchable brine shrimp eggs-
-indian almond leaves-
-Melano Halfmoon male-
-steel blue or royal blue CT or HM female-
