their behavior was really good by the way. Happy swimming. They came to the class when I knelled down....then I was horrified.

I'm sorry =( keep an eye out, maybe their next batch of females will be healthier. You could always order an HM female online, aquabid has tons to choose from, and there's usually people on this site that are breeding and would be willing to sell you one of their fry =)

My Current bettas:
Sullivan- Orange rose tail halfmoon male
Daisy- Mustard Gas (black and yellow) veil tail female
Milton- Teal butterfly halfmoon male (mom's betta)

They look over-fed but it doesn't look like parasites to me. My females look similar to this. Females just tend to be more 'heavy-set' than males are, so you can't really compare them. Eggy+being overfed= that picture.

Just because I don't type with candy and rainbows doesn't mean I'm being mean.
My opinions are based on research and experience. Ask for help!

If all the females are in a big tank, I bet they are over fed by employees. Possibly someone being lazy dumping a bunch of food in the tank that all the little piggies decided to chow down on! Then if they do get eggy, I bet they'd look ridiculous like that!

I would check back in a few weeks, to see if they get any more.
