Funny fishy

I changed my betta's tank around a bit when I did the water change last night.
I moved his existing decor around and added a couple of new plants as well as a "proper" in-tank thermometer.
He's been busily exploring since I put him back in the tank, which was the whole reason for the change, but his new favorite accessory seems to be the thermometer.
I really think he'd be thrilled with a tankful of nothing but thermometers, he's hanging out with it like it's going to feed him.

I also bought him a small container of Freeze-Dried Bloodworms to use as treats.
He won't eat them at all, he sucks 'em in and spits 'em right back out.
I guess that if he's never had anything but processed fish food the real stuff must seem a little strange.

Cute! My fish has lots of hiding places and plants as well, but chooses to hang out near the thermometer and heater cord. Bettas can be funny sometimes! As for your bloodworms, you might want to try giving smaller pieces, I know the freeze dried ones come in pretty big pieces so you can cut them up and see if he wont gobble them up! Good luck!

I feed the tiny little ones first and then chop the bigger ones in half with my thumb nail against the pad of my index finger. Lol. Just grab and cut and drop it in.

But the guy with the thermometer in my tank completely ignores it! Except when he's trying to hide behind it so I can't see him. >.> GLASS IS CLEAR, SPIRIDION!! Lol.
