down here, it depends on what store.

i'm in South Caroline, USA
veils are about $4.99
females are around $3.99
HMs are $9.99
CTs are around $7.99 (not at Pet Lover's, though. they're veiltail price. lol)
HMPKs... well, Weiss and Theo were $9.99
DTs are $5.99

it depends on what store you go to, as well. those are just the prices at Pet Lover's.

EDIT: oops. forgot:
Dragons, no matter what tail type, are $14.99 :/

My dragon was $9.99
Veiltails are $4.56 or something. At Feeder's Supply they're $3.99.
Females are $3.99 or $3.56
Those are the only tail types I have. My dragon is a delta, but he was priced for being a dragon, not a delta tail.

Your fishes are all so cheap down there!! D: Up in Canada, its usually $4.99 for VT, $8.99 for CT, $15.99 for Deltatail and I've never even seen HM's here! :(

They have something called a 'dragon fin' betta at our LPS (WTF?)...which are $24.99, but it just looks like a male betta with shorter fins. They're too girly to be PK's I think, I'll see if I can snap a photo next time I'm there. Weird colour on one of them too, it almost looks like a chocolate, but it could just be mustard gas and its colours havent come in.

Depending on whether you get from a breeder or not, HM and Deltas generally sell anywhere from $25-40 a fish here. A pair can set you back $50 - $100 if purchased from a LFS and slightly cheaper if purchased from a breeder.

A lot of LFS and pet stores don't sell all the tail types here. But a run-of-the-mill VT will set you back anywhere from $5-$10.

Females are in the same price range depending on tail type. However, usually all you'll find are chewed-up VTs.

Prices are generally fairly high as well for PKs, dragon scales, giants and dumbos as well.

there are 2 stores in Lasalle, Montreal #1 VT $5-6
CT $9
HM/double tail $25

#2 VT $5-6
CT, DBT (all tails aside from VT) $9
strangely hm are here are a bit hard to find. i did get Osiris HM DBT from here.

a 3rd store nearby probably doesnt go over $9. theres one rundown pet store downtown few betta bad situation with any fish related aquarium. probably walmart (USA) levels, no live animals are sold in Quebec walmarts that i know of :). i havent yet seen PK in the few stores i checked so far. there is canadabetta.com based in montreal but he does charge $15-50 for certain tail types. he seems to be a HM type breeder.

Kigurumi (F) yellow PK 7/4/13, Kurama VT 9/8/13, Zeydalus Salamander EE PK 21/3/14, Ryuk turquoise dragon DeT 8/5/14----Crested Gecko (8ths old) Sven Cal 27/12/11,

RIP: Osiris copper DT, Nel blue VT, Nelliel turquoise grizzle DT, Zaku red cambo, Blitzkreig Pineapple CT, Halloween orange chocolate DeT, Grimmjow, turquoise green CT

Here in Australia (in AUD):
- VT = $9.90
- CT = $15.00
- Delta = $33.00
- HM = $26.50
- Female = $8.00

I have no idea why the HMs cost less than the delta...I've only seen one shop in my city that stocks ANYTHING other than crowns and veils, though.

Life.

Here VTs range from 4 (female) or 5 (male) to 10 (either) depending on the store. Chain stores = lower prices. And most places have so called kits and a regular vt for a "bundled cheap price"
