Help! I think I'm addicted!

I was in Canadian Tire the other day (kind of like Home Depot) it is not a pet store by any means. Anyway they had a pet accessory section and were selling male bettas for $2.99! They were the most beautiful colors Prettier than I PetSmart ever has. I wanted
to buy them all but I really don't have the space. My daughter has a male and I have a split tank with two females. I just can't get over the colors they were, the only ones I have seen are red and blue. This store had a beautiful peachy colored one. How do I say no to these fascinating fishes!

Lilly - pretty white female. She was the smallest betta I have ever seen at PetSmart. Barely an inch long!

I am trying to talk my oldest into taking the 2.5gal tank because my youngest wants to get a divided tank like me so she can get another betta. Would two males in a divided tank be ok or would they stress each other out? She is only 9 but a budding betta enthusiast.
My kids weren't with me when I was at Canadian Tire but if I take them I know they will want one each. Maybe I can get two more, one for the 9yr old and one for my 15yr old.
This addiction is going to cost me. We already have 5 pets in the house. Is there a support group for me somewhere out there! LOL

HAhahah Betta rehab!!
"Hi my name's Alora, and I have a betta addiction!"
About the divided tank, It would all depend on how big it was. The more they see each other, the more they may get stressed out, but i'm not totally sure haha. My two males don't even care if they see each other anymore...They're just bored of each other now lol!

I guess it's kind of sad I am using my kids to feed my addiction!

Haha, My boyfriend is already limiting me on two bettas when I want a whole lot more, including an eventual ten gallon tank when we get our own place! I managed to talk to him into two. He originally wanted one, but I talked him into Casper and one more TBD betta.

As my signature says: Bettas are like potato chips; You can never have just one!

HAhahahaha soooo true, I definitely can never have just one! Luckily my mom understands my betta needs. My dad doesnt like fish much and didn't want me to get any at all rofl. Luckily, he never really looks at my fish so he doesn't know about the last three girls I bought behind his back ROFL.
