got talked into getting a new guy

So there i was at petco....just picking up some silk plants for my new tank or so I thought lol. As soon as we walked in of course i went over to check out what bettas they had and come across a cool little halfmoon. I wasn't going to get him but my mom talked me into it even though she hates fish. Will post pics as soon as I take a few.

LOL thats funny. Most people that post here say their family discourage from getting new bettas. congrats on your new guy. Can't wait to see pics!

My bettas: 6 boys and 8 sorority girls

Wow, he's gorgeous! Best of luck with taking care of your new addition. =)

Any ideas of names? Maybe Marbles will fit him well... xD

Haha, I remember having to do that with some goldfish. My mum told my sister and I that we weren't to buy any more fish, but we only went to the pet shop, came home, and set them up in a hexagonal tank on the window-ledge. I realise that's not the most ideal now, but we were young and careless back then. =P

My mum would only convince me if my betta died and I were to get a replacement, hehe.

Victor, since 26th October 2011.
