Little piggy

Just curious... does anyone else have a betta who tries to eat more than one mini/micro pellet at once? Mine seems to have attempted it many times. I think he gets one pellet, chews on it a little, then tries to get the next pellet before he's ready. At least, that is what it looks like. He usually doesn't have problems inhaling the pellets otherwise O.o

I wish I could edit my own original thread. I just realized that my post looks more serious than I meant it to be. o.o

Mine don't really try to eat too much at once as they like to show off their acrobatic skills when they eat. Jumping and twisting and flipping. They put on quite the show. Lol. Harmonia and Hermes are my big jumpers. They'll launch their whole bodies out of the water at my fingers before I even drop the food for them. O.O;

Casper thinks it's feeding time when I'm sitting at my computer. He'll swim in a little circle multiple times to get my attention. Of course, whenever I actually DO feed him, he can't find the food right away -.- Weirdo.

Rosso knows that when I shake the food container, pellets will be arriving soon. Do bettas actually learn stuff like that?

Like the NLS small fish formula? My fish inhale those. Yes, with many at the same time. lol.

Remember that the tank your fish lives in is his or her's whole world. Ask yourself this question, and answer it honestly: would you choose to live there?

It's not NLS, but the pellets are really small and sometimes I'll catch him trying to eat another pellet before he can fit it, lol.

lol cute.. I feed all of mine only one pellet at a time for that reason. I mean, if some of them will jump and bite at my fingers the minute they see my fingers going to open up the trap door for their kritter keepers, I am sure as heck not going to give them free reign on food o.O

Breeder so I have too many to count and too many named to list here!
