Helped Set Up A Tank Today!!!

Thankfully not my own! My cousin was visiting and found a black and blue crowntail and decided she wanted another betta. She had one before, but this time she wanted to set it up in a rectangular tank so she could see him (her older one was in a round bowl). She ended up getting a nice little 2.5. I gave her gravel, some NLS small fish food, and some various live plant clippings. She got some anacharis, duckweed (not by choice, lol!), java fern (crested and regular), and part of a marimo moss ball.

I just ordered a heater tonight, and it should be here soon. She will be getting a light at some point. I am super excited for her!

Though technically I did set up a tank tonight... I bought some ghost shrimp and a blue apple snail. So they are in a quarantine tank. Thankfully that is only temporary! Not sure which tank I will put the apple snail in, but the shrimp are going in with my girl.

Remember that the tank your fish lives in is his or her's whole world. Ask yourself this question, and answer it honestly: would you choose to live there?

Yes, though she is currently 200 miles away. lol. She was just visiting me for the day. I won't actually see her again until a couple weeks. If she posts her own pictures I will re-post them here. Though I think he is going to be hard to photograph because he is so dark!
