clear/whitish can be the new regrowth of his tail.

Do what you can to help him heal if it's tail biting.
Agood way to determine tail biter vs comb tail is to look at his other fins and see if they have web reduction aswell.

My wishlist:
-duckweed- -black and white marble, anything but VT-
-javamoss- -koi marble, anything but VT)
-hatchable brine shrimp eggs-
-indian almond leaves-
-Melano Halfmoon male-
-steel blue or royal blue CT or HM female-

tail biter.
he doesn't look like a comb tail judging by his other fins, and the rips in his tail are irregular. He's a tail bitter, the equivalent of humans that bite their nails x3.

Just keep him in clean warm water with a lot of stimulants; gravel, plants, caves, things to keep him interested in. some betta just make a habit out of tail biting, while others do it when they're stressed. key to stopping it is to keep them as little stressed as possible, and keep them happy with things to do.

that's really all there is to it. you can try some bettafix to help heal his fins, but if he's already healing, then it wont do much now. just keep him distracted from biting them any more.

Jazz - Male Aqua and Red Metallic Crowntail
