Lightbulb I can't be the only one who has thought of this...

So it's the first Friday of the month! That means cleaning time!

I clean most of the tanks in my bathtub for convenience, and while scrubbing with my hands I thought.. Oh my Goodness what if I turned my bath into a HUGE betta sorority!?!?!?!?

I never use my bath (Or the shower that goes with it, I shower in a separate bathroom) and when I do my water changes I could just unplug the drain (With the fish being in a safe little place of course) and when I do an 100% water-change/clean out? Easy as pie! And yes, I looked up the size that my bath-tub would be, it's a 62 gallon. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW AWESOME THAT WOULD BE?!?!??!

Jack (male HM 2.5g tank)
Glofish (10g tank)

Welcome home,

Yes, I too have dreamed about having a betta sorority in my bath tub!
But, logically thinking it is practically impossible. Inless you bought a brand new bathtub, you would have know idea what chemicals have been used on it..... not including all the soap.
So, all in all it is a VERY bad idea idea. But, its a really cool thought!

You could always get one of those very large plastic storage containers, but even the clear ones won't be clear enough to see from the sides.. but it's doable in creating a large, pond style home for them :)

Breeder so I have too many to count and too many named to list here!

Well I kept allot of blue tilapia in a zink bathtub for about 2 months, then my sister gave them to much flower and they all died. I did not even think about the soap, but it was pink tilapia! If you click on my name,go to statistics, click find all posts by nicolaas and look for pink tilapia endanger, on the second page. Then read a little what I say about them and then you would you what I mean by, but it was pink tilapia! OR JUST SELECT, pink tilapia endanger and google it.
