Jumping?

Do all bettas inherently know how to jump? I ask because I've had one of mine for several months now and have never seen him even attempt to jump...strange.

i do believe they all have the capability. I noticed my girls seem to jump more than the boys. I cupped my girls this one time and they were in the store cups they come in. Patty jumped through the hole in the top and some how made it through Shirleys hole and into her cup. Still have no idea. Captain (male crowtail) is a jumper too. I think it depends on if they want to or not *shrugs shoulders*

I should add too that that is only two out of the fifteen I own. The others don't jump.

That's cool. I think Mo *tried* to once, but he might've just been trying to get at his pellet.

my boy Swish just tries to jump out of his cup or net back into his tank. Reuban jumped to get on top of his thermometer, which is weird, because it was submerged. Reuban also jumps out of his cup or the net
