Showing some color

I know this isn't a big deal to most... but I think it's really cool watching a betta "show their true colors". After his water change, I noticed that the tips of Poseidon's tail (for those who don't know, he's a crowntail) have started to look more red. He's also showing red rays in his anal fin. Can't wait to see if he gets more color as he gets older.

Anyone else have a betta who is getting more color in? Feel free to share.

Ever since I moved Paarth to his new tank, his colors have been absolutely brilliant. This morning especially because the sunlight was in the room. I was amazed! And he is getting older, so that could be a contributor.

I just got my little Gale this morning ^__^
He was a very pale pastel at the store but he's coloured up into a gorgeous turquoise multicolour. I'm sure he's going to get even more turquoise on him, but he's still young so time will tell.

It's especially noticeable in girls. It was amazing seeing my girls go from white to their huge variety of colours. :)

Life.
