The IBC

Is anyone a member of the IBC?

Whats it like?
What do you do?

If I can start successfully breeding HMs and HMDTs I'd like to join the IBC, but I'd like to hear from members of the IBC that are on this forum.

There are a bunch of people part of the IBC on here. Martinsmommy is actually the president of IBC. I think sometimes when you join you can get a free pair from a fellow member to start breeding.

Really? That would be really neat!

Maybe I'll talk my mom into letting me join!

I have a question, the $20 Individual fee, is that per year/month?

I was thinking of joining BBC for the $20 fee, but I see if I join IBC for the $20 fee, I can join BBC for $15 instead. Something I was always interested in, but it's confusing to me.

If I had 10 more dollars and my mothers permission, I could totally join the IBC.

PitLuvs: I really hope its per year!

The fee is for a year's membership. The IBC is for anyone interested in learning more about bettas, breeding bettas, and showing bettas. You get a newsletter named FLAIR! bimonthly. On the IBC site there are betta related products for sale (not working ATM).
By the way, Martinismommy is the VICE president.

Sounds exciting!
I PMd Martinismomm, can't wait to hear back from them!

I really hope I can convince my mom to let me get more into my bettas.

I was looking to join BBC because they have the best Betta food I can get, but also to be apart of something a little more in my country as far as Bettas go. I'd love to breed, but I want to breed right. Not just toss fish together, but to have a goal and a plan for my breeding. I don't see me breeding for at least another 2-3 years. Combining the IBC and the BBC sounds like a good choice for us. BBC has some Betta products as well, but anyone can order from them.

Anyone can buy from IBC as well. People from all over are members. It's a great place to learn and be in contact with some of the best betta breeders in the world.

I really want to learn how to breed and care fro my bettas properly. I kinda messed up my 25 gallon sorority because I started it before I knew about cycling and stuff.
