I have yet to actually "swim" in lake. It's been years since we went out to a real lake and we didn't so much swim as we just played around in the water. Water here takes so long to warm up! And swimming in the Atlantic Ocean is basically impossibru. -_-

Dieting isn't necessary. Just make better choices when eating. Easy.

Lakes scare me since apparently some have the bacteria that eat your brain.

I don't diet, I just have a healthy lifestyle. I find that when I stick to healthy choices (no bread/grains, refined sugars, or processed foods) I don't get as many migraines. The only one of those that's hard for me is grains, haha. Sometimes I just want PITA WITH MY HUMMUS.

I've never gone swimming in a lake, either, and I live in Florida! There are some really nice springs around here that I want to go toooooo.

lol my parent's own a lake shore cabin and I used to go up there all the time as a kid, now that I've moved away not so much. But I've swam in it tons of times, no chiggers, no brain eating bacteria, not even a rash or anything. Our lake is super clean, on a bad day you can still see 8 ft down, on a good day its crystal clear until about 15 ft. We also pull out all of the nasty goop on the bottom until we're left with good hard sand.

Well I'm on a diet. It's just as hard to break a food addiction as any other addiction.

thats in hot springs and what not. Our lake is fed by a natural spring underground and occasionally overflow from other lakes. I'm not too concerned
