i adore kids. i am also the oldest of five, and the younger siblings can be obnoxious of course (but so can i >:3) and its usually fun and games. i do have a brother with severe ADHD as well. he looks normal otherwise. That's the hard part about special needs. some people just don't get it when they see kids that look normal but are odd in other ways.

I am but I don't act like it. I also have ADH but I HATE the pill, so I just am a bit more hyper than other ids, but I'm not as bad as I was, it took work tho.

I admire you for that. :) I think it's something extreme self-control can really help with. And self-control is always a good thing to practice. I was told I have it, but I never took any medication for it and calmed down when I got older.

My bf has ADD and he's still taking ridilin at the age of 23. It really does help him think and he only takes one a day. If we stay together there is a good chance one of our kids (if we have more than one) will have ADD or autism of some kind. It kind-a runs in his family, infact they thought he was growing up. He loved rolling himself into a taco, and being by himself vs with someone else. There were some other things that added into that but I can't think of then at the moment (just woke up).
We've had our talks about future and this has come up. He said we'd get through it showing our love to our kids in which ever way they receive it best. Which if that means one has autism; hates being touched and bonds with a dog walking through a pet store, then that means we are getting a dog lol.

Feel free to message me any questions, I'll try to help the best I can!
