Question Lady At My LPS

The very nice lady, told me what i needed today, i got a gravel vacuum, some Prime water conditioner(i ran out of my walmart brand :/), and some smaller betta pellets, mine i felt were too big for my lovies mouths! and then i say 'are these for babies?' because of how small they were. and she says 'nope, just regular pellets, one every other day outta cover it' i was like " ONE OF THESE? these tiny ones? every OTHER day? i feed mine 2 every morning right now, and they are twice the size!" she said ' yeah, you've been over feeding them'

was she right? am i over feeding them!?!?

And im happy because tomorrow i will be going back and getting some plants, and maybe AQ salt.

my tanks are quite nice now :) you know what.... i might even get me another betta tomorrow... you would be shocked at how well they take care of their bettas, CLEAR water, no poops and barely any left over food! all the fins were healthy, the cups were almost completely full, and all the bettas seemed nice... i think i may get me a half moon... they are my fav...

What Brand of Pellets do you have?
Did you know what happened in my PetSmart? They classified a CROWNTAIL Betta for a HALFMOON. I'm like, "What the HECK?!?!" I figured they were Clueless. BUT, maybe someone just put it in the Wrong Section after they picked it up. It was the Only Betta left.

EDIT: Oh, and you should feed your Betta Daily. It's for their Nutrition. You should only not feed it when Fasting.

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

My one boy whose very prone to bloating gets one pellet instead of two. (he's also my oldest so imagine an older gentleman with colon and digestion issues lol) It all depends on the fish.
