Mosquito Larva

how do i culture my own Mosquito larva ? just leave a bucket with water out side? lol i would like to have some to feed to my bettas as snacks...

Yup. Leave a bucket with some water......no water changes. And some decaying leaves, they love dirty water IME

there re no dead leaves right no :/ what if i put some water out there and let my digs drink it? lol. then they will have some nasty water to have larva in.... jk
but can i just toss a bucket or water out there and then check it every now and then or would that be too clean? lol.

Just be sure to keep an eye on the population since mosquitos are a health hazard. I had to terminate mine cause my parents got a ticket for my bucket in the backyard. The neighbors around here are stingy like that and will report anything >.<

well, do one some where hidey lol, and i live out in the country so i have no stingy neighbors lol

i found some leaves in a bucket that have been there for months lol and put them in this one...

I use the bucket my mom grows her iris in. potting soil puts nice color and food in the water i plop in some algea wafers to get them bigger and fatter i prefer shallower pans its easier to moniter the population i use oak leaves and hay for added food.
things to Remember
you have to catch them (i use a clear straw)
heat=fast growth
they will turn into mosquito in 4 days in proper conditions

Yes but if there is any bits of laves and dirt and muck it will get in their to plus its hard to get them out.
