Kaden, I am so mad that it is a guy that is setting those fires, if I saw him and he was setting another fire, I would run after him and punch him until he can't feel it any more and say he was resisting lol.

I pray that you and everyone else living close to the fires that you remain safe. I really hope they catch that SOB.

He (or they) have a whole state full of angry people coming up with various ways of putting him into unconsciousness. lol. There's a main highway 24 that the fire has been approaching, we're supposed to get moderate winds in the morning so it might jump over it and keep on burning. But, some good news, the government approved sending a C-130 plane to drop a huge amount of retardant onto the fire. Hopefully they can get some control over it.

Get a few things packed and ready to go if you have to make a run for it.

A C130! Holy moley, those are huge! I am glad that got approved because that plane will really make the difference. That really is amazing, I am glad that the government is doing a lot to help you guys.

I think when caught, he better be hoping the first to reach him are police, the people are gonna destroy him!

I'm thinking the person is mentally distrubed and may not know what he is doing is wrong. I hope.

Hope everyone near and around these fires stays safe.

I was at my grandparents' farm helping out when the Black Saturday fire went through. So many people died only a few doors down from their farm. Watching how fast it spread you just knew people weren't getting out of there alive.

I think arsonists are scum of the earth. To cause so much destruction. There's nothing like having to tell someone their house is nothing but ash, and all that wildlife perishing and suffering because someone gets their jollies off watching things burn.

4,600 acres gone, 5% containment. :-/

It breached the ridge of the canyon it was in, and is now headed towards potentially 3 different towns.

The Ft Collins fire has burned 65,738 acres and taken down 180 homes. It's about 55% contained, and they don't expect to have it fully contained for several months. As for the Estes Park fire, I'm not sue of the acreage but it is in "mop up" stage. I assume that means they have it contained.

Woke up this morning and there is so much smoke in town, it looks like it's heavy fog. I can't even see the mountains at this point.
