I loved, loved, LOVED, Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in the prequel to this movie, "The Dark Knight". His character gave me the willies, expecially during the scenes where he "explains" where he got his scars. It was exactly what Heath was trying to do to the audience, make them very creeped out and disgusted. I am glad that his performance won him the Best Supporting Actor award both at the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes.
It was a tragedy that he passed away so young and in his prime, leaving behind his young daughter. She probably won't have too many memories of him, which is sad.
He is and always will be a legend among actors.
Too bad Christopher Nolan won't make another Batman movie. He says he's done with it now, feeling that he has nothing more to contribute to the franchise.
