Taking photos underwater

I see amazing pictures on here without any glares, so I was wondering..

What are your camera settings? Or do you all have like, 1000$ camera's.

Well......The camera does help a lot, however great shots can be got with a lower end point and shoot style camera if the right methods are used.

Glare can be over come by many many ways.

Tilt the camera so the flash is not on the subject
Use static lighting instead of the flash
Use external flashes above the water line

Turn on aquarium lighting.
Tilt camera to take pictures at a slight angle to avoid bounce back of the flash.
A good background.

These are the things behind a good fish themed photo.

I see. Thank you both. I was just wondering for when I buy a new camera.
