You Had To Sell It, Did You?

I know it sounds dumb to cry over this but my dad sold his Porsche and I'm mad that he sold it. Now every time I look into the empty garage I cry. Why did he have to sell it? I can't get it back, that Porsche was special. I can't get over it. Any suggestions?

That photo is resized. It says: "My past does not define me. My strength is an illusion. My calm hides a storm. My innocence is not ignorance.

You must ask yourself perry, why are you so upset over it? Is it because you loved the car or just wanted it one day?

But as with all things at some point we must let go, to hold on to regret for material things will only bring pain and unrest. Instead, as other posters have presented, embrace life and all it's rewards.

Maybe your dad needed the money? Parents don't always share their problems with their kids. And kids aren't always sensitive to the fact that parents can have problems too...
