The thankful thread

I recently posted on the rant thread, and realized since its Easter there should be a THANKFUL thread. You can post what you are thankful for, or lucky for. Be happy about it!!!

I either talk to my fish when I'm mad, or I'm mad because I talk to my fish.

I am thankful that there have been ways provided for me to create safe, comfortable homes for my fish. I know that there are a lot of people who got a fish unprepared just like I did who do not have the means to get their pet everything it needs. I am so thankful every day that I see them so happy that I have been able to find good deals on tanks and equipment. Also, I am glad that I have the time and knowledge to be able to volunteer at my local pet store to help keep the bettas clean and relatively safe. I am very glad that I found and became a part of this forum, and it helps me every day. Most of all, I am thankful for all my fish friends, who have helped me both emotionally and physically more than they will ever know. I am so blessed to have them in my life :')

I know I started this, but in thankful for for the house I live in, the fish I have that comfort me through my cloudy days, the people who teach me important life lessons. Your post made me realize there is so much more to be thankful for. I will be honest when I say I'm not really a thankful person. I have had a lot for personal issues that have really affected me, and made me forget how lucky I was. so when I hear other people talk about what they are thankful for, it makes me feel like there is much more out there than beyond self pity and self misery. I really and truly mean it when I say: thank you for being thankful.

I either talk to my fish when I'm mad, or I'm mad because I talk to my fish.

I'm thankful for my family and that I have a roof over my head and enough to eat.

Yeah, also through those exceptionally hard times, I just do what my signature says. My fish Sparkey such a wild, happy personality, it always cheers me up when he gets all excited to see me. I guess in the end, those silent, friendly betta fish, can really be your best friend.
