Tons of questions!! need lots of answers!!!

Ok I'm new and trying to figure my way through bettafish.com with trial and error isn't exactly working... so I'm just going to go ahead and ask. Be careful, I have questions after questions....

First two questions:

What does IMO mean???
It's proably one of those duh questions, but I have no clue what it means and I see it all the time on here.

How do you delete posts/threads???
I accidentally posted a thread for a game that was already posted and now I'm really embarassed. I also have posted things I want to delete really badly so that information would be welcome.

Please help!!

I either talk to my fish when I'm mad, or I'm mad because I talk to my fish.

You can't delete posts but you have 20 minutes to edit them. Otherwise you have to have a moderator do it for you. IMO means in my opinion.

Another Q:
Is it bad that my betta likes to wrap his fins around the intake tube of his filter? Also another is it bad question (actually two):
I live by a lake, so if I were to pick the small Lilly pads that grow there and put them in my fish's tank, would it be harmful?

Does The fact that my betta is reckless and bumps his scales off and tears his fins mean that he is somewhat blind??

Not bad that he wraps his fins around the intake as long as yes not getting sucked in. I wouldn't pick the lily pads and add them to your tank, you risk parasites and the lily probably wouldn't even grow in a tropical tank. That doesn't necessarily mean he is blind though it could be a clue.

Stickies are threads that are deemed important enough to "stick" at the top of the page. Bumps are where you comment on a thread to bump it to the top of the page and get the thread more attention.

Btw, on my avatars my betta had recently tore his tail fin pretty badly, so it's really noticeable, and if you look towards his middle those random dark spots are actually missing scales that grew back. But every time, he regrows everything so fast!! It worry me seeing him hurting himself like this.
