Someone was watching out for us

EASTER MIRACLE! Today I about lost it in wal mart because there was this neat boy that seemed close to death. I knew i did not have room for him, but i had this huge feeling that I needed to save him. I convinced customer service to give him to me for half off. I kept panicking because I was not sure where exactly this fish was going to end up and when. I posted on a local classifieds (albeit with an extremely long and detailed description on what he needs and how to care for him) and got THREE responses within half an hour to adopt him. I decided on the first responder, who had bred Bettas in the past and has everything he needs to live a long and happy life. One of the others was someone i know personally who would also be great, and yet another who was willing to give him proper care.

I just wanted to express that I feel like someone or something was really watching out for the little guy today and I am so happy that he will be going to a new, capable, and loving home. It's more than I could have asked. I could not just leave him there to die on Easter....

I'm really glad that there are still good people in the world who are willing to help a fish in need. :")

That is one lucky fishy and it was nice of you to give him a chance at a good life.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Yes, good job! So happy for you, the new owner, and the little guy.

I'm so happy you could save him and give him to someone who will give him a good home.
