My old roommate had reoccurring painful lumps on his skull, and several operations due to their location. Get to the doctor please!
I actually had the worst headache of my life a couple weeks ago. Two vicodins later there was still a trace of pain...

But head stuff isn't something you can ignore. Everything is close to the brain. And you gotta protect your brain so that you can continue to ask questions about moisture and protein content, etc.

So... go to the doctor....
LOL! Okay yeah I will be seeing the doctor soon then...

It's still there, and now I have one at the base of my head, but this new one will move if I push on it. I will be making a doctors' appointment next week. You think the first lump could be a benign bone tumor?

I know it's worrisome right now but try not to jump to conclusions until you're seen by a doctor. I hope and pray it turns out to be something minor.

It may be a cyst, I've had one on my back a while and it hurts from time to time. Try putting a hot wash cloth on it twice a day and see if it goes down, as this melts the sebum allowing to be reabsorbed into the body.

But seeing a doctor is best.

No, I don't think it's a benign bone tumor....

I think it's something like... *gasp*.... an infected pimple or a cyst, as thekinetic suggested.

I tend to believe that things are the more common issues first:
Cysts are common. Bone tumors are not....
Infected hair follicles are common. Brain growths are not....

So I'm going with a cyst or infected hair follicle/pimple as an initial guess.

But if you go see a doctor, you'll know for sure. (Hint, hint.)

I think the other lumps on my head are cysts or infections, I think one is a swollen lymph node, and that hard one...really feels like a bone thing. I'm not worried though. Even if I have to get surgery...I don't really care.
