So, I set this up for fun yesterday...

Next to 2.5 gallon for size comparison:

I had this little container sitting around, and a tree-shaped little driftwood branch...so I set this up yesterday. There's a couple of baby pond snails, some java moss, and duckweed in there. I think I'll put a couple of strands of hairgrass in the back. Wonder how long I can keep it going?

Current bettas: Opalo, ♂Granite, ♂Alpha-Betta, ♂Eclipse, Lucky, ♂Honor, ♀Virtue, ♀Innocence, ♀Garnet, ♀Chroma, ♀Tethys, ♀Amaryllis, ♀Goldeen
Tanks: 3g betta NPT, 20g NPT community, 10g 3-way divided, 10g NPT sorority, 5g divided betta tank

Wow, it looks amazing, but it's so small, it's almost cute

It is very cute. The thing only holds a little over a cup of water. I'm trying to figure out what kind of light to put over it. I don't have any windowsills in my room, or I'd put it by a window...I have it next to the "big" 2.5g right now so that it gets light.

Think it's big enough for a betta? I'm thinking of putting in a divider so I can get two.

You say that as a joke but if that was a pet store keeping them in that we would probably say that was a lot better than the cups, lol.

Of course I wouldn't recommend keeping a Betta in there.

The majority of fish issues are initially caused by poor water conditons.

I'm pretty sure a betta wouldn't even physically fit in there, lol. It's about half the size of a pet store cup.
