I have a wonderful dog but am a total cat person, hands down. I just can't have a cat because my husband's allergic.

Both. Dogs because you can go out with them, but cats because some days you just don't want to.

Oh my.....some may know this already......I am often called the "old cat lady"...lol....that live at the end of the road.....laffs.....it would be the crazy cat lady but-I found out to be that I had to be single and I am married so it is just "the old cat lady" now....lol

I have 29 cats to date...but I do live on a working cattle ranch with big hay barns....... and it seems that some irresponsible people think that dumping helpless kittens and cats would give them a better chance of survival...NOT...that is cruel and a terrible way to die-starvation, run over by a car, wild animals...etc......

So they seem to come to my house and of course I take them in and care for them and spayed and/or neutered.....

Yes, they all have names and they all come in the house at one time or another...I am the cat lady after all.........

Only 7 have total house privilege-
My 16 year old Mr Bob that I got at 3 days old and bottled raise-someone threw him and his siblings in the trash at the lake and he was the only one still alive.
Miss Taddy 15yrs-she was found along the highway by my daughter and brought in with pretty bad injuries, I set her broken leg and amputated her tail due to gangrene, this little girl caused problems because I thought the kids didn't flush the toilet and I later caught her using the toilet and not flushing....lol....
My lovely Miss Grace 8 yrs old that is terrified of the out doors and will freeze and not move if I take her outside
Meow-Meow 7yrs-you can point your finger at her and ask "whats your name" she will say "Meow Meow" my lap is the only place she want to be.....
And then my newest boys that had been dumped at about 2 weeks of age on the side of the road-Matt, Mark, Luke-1yr old now-2 white and 1 yellow-my teenagers that get into trouble all the time...but are so sweet and love to help me clean the tanks and lay with me on the floor when it is time for my therapy.

And then John-he isn't in the house, but a sad story-he was an adult intact male that showed up last year injured-it took me a month to catch him to help him, he had a flea collar that had dislodged and was around his neck and front leg, it had been like that long enough that the collar had grown into his flesh and when I finally got close enough- I cut it off-and the collar tore the flesh- the smell of rotting flesh was overwhelming and he was so sick by this time and septic that I was able to handle him and get the wounds cleaned up and started on IM antibiotic and later neutered, he is now my friend that lives in a hay barn with the rest of the gang of semi-wild kitty-cats.

So I guess I am a cat person....lol

We have 4 dogs too and horses, cattle, chickens and of course aquariums and fish.......
