Anti-Rant- My Platys seem extra active and hyper today. I'm glad. I love watching them. I love how they all look different!

Each of my 5 are a different type. So I'm not exactly sure. LOL. I only know that one of them is a Mickey Mouse Platy. I can't remember the names of the others. Here's a picture of them all together. This is my favorite picture of them.

Don't mind me - just whining.

I have to take General Ecology for my major. If I had a choice, I wouldn't take it. HATE the class, HATE everything about it. I thought it was mildly interesting at first, but now I find it irritating. I want hands-on experience with animals. I don't want to spend three hours sitting in the rain counting stupid plants and marking them down in a little yellow notebook. No. This past Monday, we caught a lot of bugs and had to euthanize them. Then we had to sort through hundreds of seeds to collect maybe twenty bugs? Is it really worth euthanizing them just to look at them under the microscope and identify the type of bugs they were?

Not just the labs - the lectures are a pain. 50 minutes - not bad at all, right? It wouldn't be if we had an actual lecture and didn't just talk about the group questions. On that note - we're assigned these stupid group questions and we have to discuss them and submit them 48 hours before the class begins. Um, what? Then we spend 45 minutes of the class discussing the answers and voting on the best. Errr, what? I don't want to look at the same stupid graph over and over again and speak up about whether or not it's an accurate representation of whatever the question was.

Hate that class. I'm done.

^Thank you! It was just a bad moment, I guess. I finished all my plant data, and all I have left is the insect data, which the professor hasn't uploaded yet. Eight more weeks of this - just keep swimming, right?
