another rant.

I CANNOT FIND A FREAKING MANNEQUIN!!!! D: geesh. need one for sewing and cannot find one! I'm not even being that picky... full body, upper torso, with stand, without stand... i don't care just as long as it's a woman mannequin x.x and online? forget it. it's either USA only or shipping is ridiculous. or mannequins are more expensive than my half of the rent.

Are you looking for an upholstered one or a wire frame?
Obviously, upholstered would be best, but if you're pinched for cash ...

upolstered, plastic, styrofoam.... xD anything that I can drape over, and such. I don't need to pin the fabric to the mannequin... just... at least put on :p and see what it would look like on a "totally realistic" body

Ohh, so you're looking for a full body, not a dress form?

Just poking around on my own, there are injection molded hanging torsos that are el cheapo.

But if you want a full body, it may be cheaper to buy legs separately, lol.

dress form, full body... as long as it has the upper half, I'd like it lol. no blow-up mannequin though. that's silly. what if a pin pokes it? there goes 20.00 I emailed someone and texted her 3 minutes after her kijiji post, which had a full bodied female mannequin for 80.00, and after work she finally texts me "its sold"... grrr communication SUCKS with some people. I was willing to drive to edmonton to pick up! :/

only problem with those, is amazon.com wont ship to canada most of the time, and there's no back :(

maybe if I cannot find something, I can just mold it from the plaster rolls I can buy for 21.00.... be my body shape then.

Well, keep your eyes open. Sometimes with online deals you just have to play the waiting game.
Maybe you can go to a department store and see if they have any they're not using? XD

xD even that is hard! best I found for cheap are feet. feet mannequins. o_O and hand mannequins. and scary faced head mannequins (mouth wide open in a 50s fashion of a laugh O_O ) and man mannequins. but I'm not a man. and I am NOT putting a dress or purty woman shirt on a man-mannequin. xD
