Some of you know I bought three bettas a few weeks ago: Cassandra, Demeter and Hippolyta. Demeter is now happily in my sorority tank, Cassandra sadly died and Hippolyta is actually a boy. I'm not allowed to keep him, because I'm not allowed another tank.
Currently, boy-fish is sitting in a 5 gal hexy in my room, exploring every last inch of it. He is the fiestiest little plakat and I adore him. I have a home lined up for him with people I know will care for him, but he'll only be in a 5 litre breeder net inside a larger tank. Clean, warm water and all that is great, but he's such an active, happy little swimmer. I want him to have lots of room. :( If it were up to me, I'd get him a really long tank to be the angry little king of.
I don't want to let him go when I know I could give him more than he's going to get. :(
