I want to go back to Petsmart and see about one of those white hm's I saw the other day but it's too hot to walk down there. I can just see getting a white one then in another month it would turn blue or pink. I want a WHITE one! lol

Lol I know D: I saw a DUMBO!!! -died- I think it is stupid that Petsmart in the CITY closes at 9. Why not 10? I'd have a better chance then :/

I'm so sorry to hear lyzza. *hugs* My dog passed away two years ago this month. I know what you're going through and it's hard. I wish there was some comfort I could offer but I know there are no words that can ease pain like this.

Thanks Kinetic...She was my first dog too..Got her when i was 11.
Shes been through so much with us, with my dad having cancer, and me always being sick, my brother going to Iraq and Afghanistan, she watched over us, and always slept beside whoever she thought needed her. She was staring at my dad, like, whose going to protect you now?
Its heart breaking, just waiting. My parents want her to pass at home, on her own time, but im not sure shell let go easily at all. Id rather cuddle her into a blanket and hold her as she goes, and not have her struggle to stay when she really shouldent.

I'm so sorry Lyzza. Hugs () ()

Lilly sounds like a great pal. You were lucky to have her in your life and she was lucky to have such a loving home with you and your family.

I hope she goes peacefully when it's her time.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Wondergiggle, I think it's old age. I just had a neighbor who put her dog down about a month ago. The dog was 14 years old but I feel she could have lived longer and been in better health if her stupid owner wouldn't have made her go long hours without being able to get outside to use the bathroom or if she hadn't let the dog eat bread, candy, chips and whatever else she let her have, not to mention letting her boyfriend give the dog beer and letting the woman who kept her when my neighbor sent on vacation eed her nothing but cooked ground beef.

We had a cat that suffered from a brain tumor when she was 17 years old. Because she declined literally overnight, we had to euthanise her It does suck.

OMG that reminded me so much of my dog Sadie. She had the same look of "I can't go, you'll be alone". But she was suffering, having seizures and function problems. It would have been cruel to let her die naturally, and she would have been in unimaginable pain because she would have fought death the whole way.
