Don't worry about the coloring from the driftwood, Sena.

I've got some old, sundried yucca root in my molly tank and it hasn't done a single thing except for make the water dark brown and look neat. I've had bettas in there with it too and they've all been perfectly fine.

Angry

My (sort-of) rant: Oh my gosh! I just found a "book-end" set that has two TINY bowls on either side, on the internet!

Fish are not decorations, need proper care and are certainly NOT suitable for these "tanks" (more like DEATH chambers )!

o_o If the books weren't able to stay up (not all book-ends actually work) the fishies would topple over...

That idea is almost as terrible as the Teddy Tank!

I currently own a male betta fish, a female betta fish, two eastern painted turtles, one western painted turtle, one Chinese dwarf hamster, and a whole load of guppies.

I am torn up about a fish related problem. lol. I have a nice 5 gallon hex with a filter light and heater that I am thinking about putting my mother in laws betta in because hers doesnt have a light. He needs a filter too and he has algae issues because her living room is so bright. He is in a 3 gallon heated tank with no filter so I was going to upgrade him to the five and add him a snail. My problem is the more I look at the tank I want to keep it and put Nero in it. Or maybe Patty because she is getting bullied a little in the sorority. The problem with Patty is her attitude changes if she isn't with Shirley. Urgh I see another 10 gal sorority with my original four girls in my future. I'm confused now.

I just checked out the website. I actually am looking at the positive side of the Teddy Tank. It is a 1 gallon fish bowl, which is a much better size than what is sold at most pet stores. Also kids can stay engaged in the Teddy Tank and care for the Betta. Most the time customers who purchase Betta don't care for them properly. But a kid will definitely want to care for their pet in this tank. I don't see anything wrong with it.
