I know that you're sensible and won't go off the deep-end when it comes to: demand, pricing, and health. But I'm just saying that bettas require a lot of: space, time, and maintenance. Jarring all the males and changing their water every day to every other day can be exhausting and time consuming. Again, not saying that you can't do it (because I believe in you) but it really does seem like a lot of work (compared to other fish).

I clean and work out while the TV is on. I say to myself, "why should I sit and do nothing when all I really do is listen?". I really don't watch the TV I just listen to it and when something interesting sounds like it is doing something I look at the screen.

I normally do the same thing, but when I sit down, it is hard to get up again :P

Many of my scaly friends from my original tank from 2011 have passed, except for two! I am in the process of re-doing my tank. :)

Yes it is a lot of work lol. I do see what you mean... Livebearer fry for instance grow fast VS 3-4 months for babies lol

Breed for the breed, not for the money; the words any REAL breeder would understand.

You must know nothing in order to know all, for all is nothing and nothing is for all.

OOoo, what kind of livebearers do you have? I currently only have Haiwaii Platy. 2 males, 6 females. I have seen three babies (community tank)

Anti-rant: Only 7 total dead fry. Still have 70 or more

Rant: so tired....
