Last year when I switched from Rogers to Bell.. Well, plainly putting guess what was not properly cancelled? Not any fault of mine, of course. It was a pay and talk phone, which Rogers gave me a call to tell me they could give me a NON CONTRACT version of pay and talk which makes it easier to pay, you don't rush for minute cards, etc. Sure, why not?
I owed them 148 something, which explains the numerous blocked calls - some of which came at 4 a.m (but PROVE it was the collections, when it's blocked), and when I finally got through to someone after the stupid automated message, they said I owed 148 something PLUS interest - which BTW, interest is actually ILLEGAL to force upon unless it is Rogers themselves who has interest building on it.
Which they didn't. Talked to a rep, and she said it was still 148 something, not anything more. The collections tried saying "25% a day not paid", which again is bogus and their way to get people's money.
So if any of you have collections call, directly contact the person who you supposedly owe, if you still have to pay, see if you can pay THEM directly not some moronic bogus "extra fee" bull. Or have them make notes to tell their collections to stop being stupid. And don't take that bull from them. At all. Ever. This is why I am a tad paranoid via moneywise... Because they always lie.
Breed for the breed, not for the money; the words any REAL breeder would understand.
