Thanks everyone, I appreciate the support. I'm glad I have SOME support in this. -sigh-
Part of going there, is so they can teach me how to live with my new hip replacement, learning how to do things in everyday life with it. Part of my everyday life is cleaning tanks and caring for my fishies! :P
Pewpewpew, that is a really good idea! Thank you! I will definitely look into that, that would be a great idea, especially so I could see my other fish even if I did bring 2 of my bettas.
Bahamut, there actually is a childrens rehabilitation hospital. Its near downtown Toronto. I've looked at it online and it seems really great. I am being referred there by the surgeon, to go there three days after my surgery. They gave me the option to go there, or go to the childrens physio center near my house but that wouldn't be admittance, just visits daily, which would be hard on my hip to travel back and forth there.
I am waiting for a reply from the social worker at the rehab center. Fingers crossed!
Life with Lupus is still a life worth living.
