Wink Cat addicted to fish food ^^;;

Nothing I do will convince my cat not to go after and try to eat my fish food. Even in drawers the silly little girl hunts it down and tries to get into it. It's rather amusing to watch when it's not driving me up the wall.

She doesn't care at all about the fish himself which is a good thing at least XD

Anyone else have this problem ?

I had an incident before.

I had fish flakes, betta pellets, brine shrimp, fruit flies, and bloodworms on my counter. Cat knocked them down, and dog opened the packages. The fruit flies were still alive. I kept finding them for weeks. -.-

Yes! My cat loves fish food too, but could care less about fish.
Once when i was asleep, he came into my room and knocked over my can of goldfish flakes. I woke up to find him chowing down on a huge heap of it.

I keep all the food in a box now where he can't reach it.

My dogs LOVE fish food. They'll even eat freeze-dried bloodworms (I left them on my desk and the dogs jumped onto my chair, where they could reach them.) Heck, my dogs like all of my other pet's foods- crickets, mealworms (EWWW!!) extrusions, alfalfa, and Hikari cichlid pellets.

In the hobby for 9 years.
