I'm sorry ): I lost my snake when I'd only had him for 2 weeks or so, so I can't imagine what it must be like for you. Tough spot, but it was probably better in the long run to be put out of his pain.

poor snake better to have done it quick then let him suffer i know i have tons of animals poor little snake that just sucks

Well now that I have an unused 500g custom tank, my wife said I can get another large snake. I don't want another burm though, he was too big. I was thinking a boa constrictor. I wont be getting another for awhile though.

Thanks, he was buried yesterday.

The current plan is getting either a boa constictor or mangrove monitor, but itll be awhile as I just spent 5 grand on saltwater tank setup.
