UPDATE: Well....We just had about two straight days of rain! It's actually still raining and getting close to being too full O_O!! The plants were too deep underwater so we had to move them up and also need to move the filter back up...lol the fish are thrilled!

Yep! They are all very active and swimming around like nothing happened! All are eating well, and some have grown incredibly!

My neighbors pond did not do as well :( their yard flooded, and since their pond was at ground level, most of the fish were washed out and died in the yard. They had three left, and for now those three are living with us, until they get their pond working again.

ouch. Poor neighbor's fishies.

My pond is ground level as well, and we've had some pretty nasty ammounts of rain to the point where it'd flood over, but my fishies are smart, they stayed near the bottom of the pond when the water was flowing the worst.

We had about 14 inches of rain or more in some places..actually, my whole highschool was FLOODED! You could only see half of the school busses! O.O I honestly feel like they might have been forced out of the water by the sheer amount of water pouring, it was an intense storm!

UPDATE: neighbor went through yard again, accross the whole yard was a ditch that was still full of water...3 more koi/golfish live!! Somehow they survived in a little puddle until now! Wow!! One of them is one of those funny fat looking goldfish that wiggle when they swim :) I'm so glad!

You have a really beautiful pond! I haven't ever seen one that nice cept in magazines and yours rivals those.

I'm so glad all of your fish survived and are doing well. I'm also glad your neighbhor rescued a few of his fish.
