wow, I didn't mean to cause such a commotion on here with my thread I just wanted to find new homes for my fishies
I just want everyone to understand that including my fish INDIVIDUALLY right now I have 11 pets. (you can see all in my siggy) That is a lot of pets even if you do count my corys as one pet and bettas as two seperate ones. I have been having some health issues, recently and I have to go to school part time and work part time, I also deal with other issues like depression, anxiety Tourette syndrome OCD and a tough relationship with my BF and keep the house clean. I decided I have to move back to MD at the end of December so my parents can have an easier time with my schooling financially. My dad hates animals and tolerates my dog only for me, He is not allowing my Reptiles to come with me. (maybe at some point I can figure out something but until then I cannot) my 2 guinea pigs are technically my BF's (he legally adopted them under his name)and he can at least take care of them and the cat somewhat since the cat we decided is both of ours together. I had to remind him that when he was overseas on business for 9 months and then more than a year after he came back I cared for the guinea pigs before I could get him to agree to taking care of my reptiles. But I know whenever I even visit I am going to have to give everyone extra care so they continue to thrive while I am away in MD.
I am trying my hardest to keep most of my animal family together, they ARE my family but it is going to be extremely tough on everyone (them, my BF and I) while I am finishing school. My BF has ZERO fish knowledge and while I trust him to care for my reptiles at least the best he can, I know my fish will kinda just be sitting there in the background, that is the other reason why I need to give them new homes after recently deciding what I want to do after this semester is over. There is no way they'd survive my VA house while I am gone.
I am not offended by anyone's comments on here, but I am just not superwoman. We sometimes have to make sacrifices in order to live life. and "sacrificing" (not meant in a mean way) my fish to BETTER homes than what they will get is a much better solution than sacificing them to potential disaster.
Anyhow, I'll keep you all updated on my process of rehoming them, please don't fight, whether or not things can or cannot be agreed upon, the only main point is to do good for our animals in the best way we can and this is not about the right and wrong of things.
