Question Way off topic but i have a cold. Help?

Well i have a cold, and today marks the second day of having the runny/stuffy nose symptom and the sore throat being gone. I am missing school today ( lots of make up work.... great) and i really dont want to have to miss anymore. Anyways anyone have some tips for helping get better fast? By the way i dont like taking meds so home remedies please!

Heat up your bath to around 80 degrees Fahrenheit and make sure to keep it stable at that temperature. Put in a heater 5 watts for each gallon.

Add the necessary amount of epsom salt and make sure to do regular water changes.

LOL!

If you have apple juice, warm apple juice or cider is the end all be all feel good liquid for a sore throat. :) Just warm it in the microwave and enjoy!

Chicken Noodle Soup and some rest is the best home remedy. Nothing really helps a cold more than rest and drink plenty of fluids. You just have to let it run its course.

You know epsom salt baths are good for healing burn wounds if you have any.

But a nice hot bath would be a good idea. They make me feel better. :)

stay warm, drink lots of warm fluids, sleep well, and take a hot bath or shower.

also, for sore throats, get a lemon, sqeeze some juice into a bowl. pour in honey until it is a thickish mixtures, like a thin syrup. Then, take a spoon, lean your head back and try to drizzle it towards the back of your throat. If you get it in the back of your throat, it'll tingle and hurt on the way down, but it'll help the sore throat heal and act as an anti-cough syrup. Don't use too much even if it tastes good, otherwise the citrus from the lemon will hurt your stomach

for your stuffy nose. If possible, buy one of those nasel squeezy things that lets you squeeze a saline mist into your nose. Use it, and blow your nose. those work wonders.

again for the throat. Get a cup of water, pour A Lot of salt, mix it up, and gargle. Not that yummy but it also works.

Whenever I have colds, I drink orange juice. Lots of orange juice. And chicken noodle soup. Citrus-y fruits are awesome for colds. When I do this my colds always last a day or two and that's it.
