I know what you mean about the fishing line. I tried to do that once. I wanted to punch someone. I had no idea I was so fumble fingered. Elastic ones should be fine. Happy wrestling. :P

Ahh, a hairband over here is the thing that holds your hair back but still leaves it down, if that makes sense haha. Like this haha

It's interesting to see what everyone calls different things.

Not to highjack the thread, BUT...

I recently bought a pack of really flimsy ponies from the Dollar Store with no metal bits. They snap as soon as I try to stretch or twist them into my hair, but do you think they`d be safe to use to attach my plants?

Puck (Yellow koi HM king) / Scar (White HM) / Salt 'n Pepper (Silver HMPK) / 'That fish' (Copper butterfly HM) / No name (White DT) / No name 2 (Turquoise/white marble HM) / No name 3 (Lilac HM)

Bo Peep (Cambodian VT) / Goldilocks (Yellow VT) / Joie de Vivre (Multicolour VT) / Lil' Peep (Blue VT) / No name (Dalmatian VT) / No name 2

If they don't have any metal bits, then I don't see why not most people use hair bobbles to hold their filter baffle in place, etc

Hmmm...I've never heard of hair ponies before, and I live in Texas! We call them hair ties and ponytail holders.
