What type of metal is on a hair bobble?

I ask because I just spent half my life trying to tie an anubia to a rock using one of these and then realised that metal and fish tanks really don't mix well, I tell you I dont make life easy for myself haha

I'm not positive but any hair tie type thing that I've ever left in the shower left rust marks eventually.

10 Gallon: Male King Betta-Kilo
5 Gallon: Male Marble HM-Logan

A hair bobble?? Is that a hair rubber band or a hair pin or what?

Here in the US they sell those without metal...like this http://workitmom.com/bloggers/milkan...9/hairties.jpg
They're what I use in my hair, not the ones with metal because if I go to the beach they rust :/
You could also use a plain old rubber band if you just rinse them before hand.

The Boys
Atlas blue metallic marble HM
Forest
red VT
Leander red/pink dragon Delta
Mister Intelligent orange/white BF VT

Phrixus teal marble dragon HMPK

The Girls
Psyche blue/red PK
Rhea black/red BF DT

RIP Alexander, Morpheus and Phobos. You are missed :'(

Hair bobble, I love that!! No one says that in the US. we just say Hair tie. LOL

I wouldn't risk it with the metal. Maybe a a rubber band..

Your not as creative as us Brits see haha
