Meet Nagini!

I know I have been talking about Brazilian Rainbow Boas...

But oh, I'm afraid they will have to wait for now. Went to a reptile expo... Came home with a new friend!

Meet Nagini, my beautiful "common boa".. nothing common about this lady!

She thanks you! ;)

She will actually be in a custom built enclosure, we have a 55 but it is much too skinny to house her when she is grown! Until the enclosure is built she will stay in the 20 long, since she's still small :3

She's a beauty! You guys have got to stop showing off your beautiful snakes though, I'm getting all kinds of jealous.

She is incredible to watch! Her movements are so different compared to our ball python.. BCIs aren't even true arboreal snakes, I can only imagine what it would be like to handle something that is a true arboreal! Their balance and muscle control is incredible!

She is a silly girl and refuses to use her hide right now! Instead she will be on it, beside it, behind it, in front of it, or just in a complete ball in the middle of the tank! lol! Oh well.. Snakes are strange things sometimes. :) But that's why I love 'em!!

I can't wait to watch her grow! Just wait, in a few short years she could be hitting 8 feet, wow! Can't wait to take a comparison photo then! :)

......

-leaves thread, because if stays too long, will end up wanting one-

Alright, I'm back. BEAUTIFUL. One of my dreams snakes, though I'd probably go with a Hogg Isle because I don't want a huge snake. She's GORGEOUS though. So jealous. Love the name, too :P

Hehehehe CodeRed! I know what you mean, these guys are AWESOME, and seeing her in person.. Well, yeah! ;)

I'm sort of excited about the size.. I know that most boas never get beyond 10 feet, unless you power feed, though this is a GIRL so she is more likely to grow big! But it's not retic size or anything CRAZY, and it will take years for her to reach her full potential anyway, plenty of time for me to grow accustomed to handling a bigger and bigger snake. And of course, when she reaches the 'big snake' point.. I won't ever handle her without Nathan to help me!
